30+ DAYS OUT

Ticket Goal: Sell 5 Tickets this week, get the ball rolling early!

TICKET BENCHMARK PERKS:

TO DO LIST FOR WEEK ONE:

  1. Order Thermal Tickets & Flyers at myafton.com so they arrive in time (Plus FREE Shipping)!
  2. Create your Facebook Event and invite all of your FB friends. Post about show on any and all social media (Twitter, IG, Snapchat, etc)
  3. Email & text message everyone in your phone with the promo code discount!
  4. Have each member read our best strategies article on how to easily sell 20 tickets: https://myafton.com/blog/how-to-sell-20-tickets/
  5. Make sure each member carries physical cash tickets & flyers everywhere they go:
  • Always have cash tickets and flyers in your wallet.
  • Anytime you see a fan or friend face-to-face, sell them a ticket if they show interest.
  • Don’t force your fans go online if you are going to see them in person!
  • Always be prepared to promote your band, this show, and sell tickets to anyone you know.

20-30 DAYS OUT

Ticket Goal: 5-10 more Tickets sold this week

  1. Send an email & text message reminder to get tickets before the promo code expires! (Some selling hints: On average, people say “I’ll buy later” 3 times before they actually say yes or buy a ticket. Good follow up is the key. Always ask for a call to action or for some sort of reply. Better to know if they cannot make it so you can cross them off your list!)
  2. Give INCENTIVES to your fans to buy early and to bring friends to your show.
  3. Get fans to bring friends and turn 10 ticket sales into 40 ticket sales: www.aftonresources.com/fans.html
  4. Continue to get the word out about the show in any other ways that work.

14-20 DAYS OUT

Ticket Goal: 5-10 more Tickets sold this week.

  4. You see potential ticket buyers / new fans everyday. At work, at school, at the bars, at church. Tell them about your show.
  5. Use the powerful LEVERAGE you have in your personal network: Your best friend has a girlfriend, your brother-in-law has 3 best friends, your girlfriend has 2 best friends, etc. Every connection you have has their own connections. If your closest friends buy tickets and vouch for you to their friends – you’ll go from 20 to 50 tickets sold in no time.
  6. Create a short Promo Video to post on YouTube and to post to your FB page: Doesn’t have to be fancy, just record it on your phone. Include show details, your Promo Code discount, link to buy tickets & your INCENTIVES program that will get your fans to bring their friends!

7-14 DAYS OUT

Ticket Goal: Get all of your “maybe’s” to commit & buy a Ticket. Personally follow up!

  3. Keep having all members actively promote and have conversations with everyone they see.

WEEK OF THE SHOW

Remember: Fans who “promise to pay at the door” flake out 80% of the time. Don’t let that decimate your draw!
