How and when do I get paid?

Unsigned artists payment is sent out every Thursday. We will send your Electronic Check (eCheck) to the payee email address that you gave us during your eContract.

After the Show Manager submits their post show report, you’ll be able to see the status of your artist payout from the “My Pay Status” section of your MyAfton account, including date issued, eCheck #, amount, and the payee email address.

You’ll get an email notification from artistpayment@myafton.com once we issue your eCheck payment. But the actual instructions on how to download your eCheck will be sent from: app@echecks.com

Check your spam folder and please safe list that email address (app@echecks.com). Your eCheck is issued through www.VerifyValid.com, the eCheck platform for Deluxe Corporation. They are the 2nd largest check printer in the United States, so this payment method is fast, secure, and highly trusted. We’ve sent over 50,000 eChecks to our artists and venues so far.

HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR eCHECK

  1. Once you receive the email from app@echecks.com.
  2. Click “Log in to retrieve your check”.
    3.Type in your username and password if you already have an account with Deluxe eChecks OR hit “Create an account” (This is free) if you do not already have one.
  3. Once account is created click Receive Checks.
  4. Click on “Get Payment”.
  5. Click “Print as a Check” then hit select.
  6. Click print check. (you can only open this once so make sure when you open the check you are ready to print it.
